Description:
Job Title: Project Manager / Scrum Master
role is HYBRID IN SAN ANTONIO, TX
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management:
- Plan, execute, and oversee IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to scope, and budget compliance.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope definition, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.
- Lead project meetings, including kick-offs, status updates, and retrospectives.
- Scrum Master Duties:
- Facilitate daily Scrum meetings, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Guide the team in implementing Agile practices and principles, fostering effective collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Resolve impediments and conflicts to maintain team productivity.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and development teams to ensure clear communication and alignment on project objectives.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular project status reports.
- Risk and Issue Management:
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Develop contingency plans and maintain a proactive problem-solving approach.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project charters, status reports, and post-project evaluations.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of project progress and metrics.
- PMO Experience:
- Work closely with the Project Management Office (PMO) to align projects with organizational standards and practices.
- Contribute to continuous PMO process improvement.
- Minimum of 6 years of IT project management experience, with at least 4 years as a Scrum Master.
- Experience supporting banking fraud prevention and mitigation projects.
- Demonstrated stability and commitment with previous employers (minimum 2.5 years per employment).
- Familiarity with PMO environments.
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
- Excellent project management skills, handling multiple projects concurrently.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in project management and Agile tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Project).
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent certification.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.
