RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in San Antonio, CA that is seeking a seasoned IT Product Owner to join our dynamic team at a leading financial institution. This is a contract position based in Texas, with mostly remote work and occasional in-office meetings required (1-2 times per month).
Summary:
As a Senior IT Product Owner, you will be responsible for driving the development and execution of strategic IT initiatives in alignment with business objectives. This is a senior-level position requiring expertise in Planview, Portfolio Enterprise, Agile methodologies, and Portfolio Place.
Key Responsibilities:
* IT Product Owner will collaborate with stakeholders to define product vision, strategy, and roadmap
* Lead the Agile development process, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products
* Prioritize and groom the product backlog, incorporating feedback from stakeholders and end-users
* Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and business analysts, to define requirements and acceptance criteria
* Champion continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance processes and drive efficiency
* As a IT Product Owner, you will act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring alignment of priorities and expectations
* Utilize Planview, Portfolio Enterprise, and Portfolio Place to manage and track project portfolios, resource allocation, and budgeting
* Provide regular updates to senior management on project status, risks, and mitigation strategies
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field
* Proven experience as a Senior Product Owner or Project Manager in an Agile environment
* The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a Senior Product Owner or Project Manager, with a strong understanding of IT project management principles and practices
* Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
* Expertise in Planview, Portfolio Enterprise, and Portfolio Place
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams
* Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with a track record of successfully delivering complex IT projects on time and within budget
* Financial industry experience is preferred but not required
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
