• Reviews all incoming mail, correspondence, news releases, policies, legislative and budget information and prepares and provides authoritative information for consideration of Director and Senior Staff.
• Provides administrative and program support for the Veteran Advisory Committee
• Conducts researches and prepares background materials for use by the Director for various purposes including but not limited to making presentations, delivering speeches, and Governor’s Office and other meetings.
• Plans, coordinates, assigns, and evaluates activities and workflow in the Director’s Office.
• Plans, maintains, and controls the Director’s appointment calendar, arranging appointments and speaking engagements. Completes travel itineraries by arranging transportation, publicity, introductions, speech topics, lodging, and expenses.
• Reviews, plans, and coordinates workload and provides guidance to other employees of the Director’s Office for accomplishing the detailed work of managing the Administrative Office in an efficient manner.
