Pay: $29.00-$31.00 hourly. Starting wage based on experience level. Paid weekly!

Shift: Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm

Job Description:

We're hiring a full time direct hire Tool Maker for a leading manufacturer with 75 years of business in high-quality consumer products. Employees here take pride in the products made, and many choose a lifetime career here!

In this position, employees plan, layout, and perform machining operations and bench work to construct, alter and repair tools, dies, fixtures, jigs, attachments, machining, molds and gauges.

Duties:

• Working from parts, prints or sketches and verbal instructions, organize and determine work procedures and sequences.
• Perform die assembly and fitting of new and existing tools.
• Set up and operate machines, including; lathes, drill presses, milling machines, and grinders. Use hand tools and measuring instruments.
• Perform bench operations involving project planning and final assembly of material.
• Perform rework on worn or damaged parts. Work with supervisor to resolve problems that arise in various departments with machines, punch press's, dies, tools, etc.
• Use floor jacks, chain hoist, die lifts and fork truck to move materials.
• Responsible for keeping work area neat and orderly.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or needed

What we are looking for in you:

• High School diploma or GED required
• 2 years of industry experience; Manual machine experience required – including drills, milling machines, grinders, lathes
• Knowledge of machine tools and their uses
• A metal stamping or molding background (preferred)
• EDM knowledge (preferred)
• On the job training is provided to familiarize with our production, facility, and supportive equipment.
