Lone Star Bakery, Inc. is looking for a Plant Engineer to assist the organization by supervising maintenance teams, identifying opportunities for process improvement and upgrades, while collaborating on plant infrastructure for the future.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Establish current and long range objectives, plans, and policies.
• Collaborates on major plans and procedures, consistent with established policies and procedures.
• Analyzes new technologies with R&D and Sales and runs competitive evaluations.
• Creates technical budgets, allocates resources, and determines schedule of product releases or project deadlines.
• Establishes and maintains an effective system of communication throughout the organization.
• Represents organization with major customers, shareholder and the public.

Job Requirements, Education, & Certifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent.
• Four to ten years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports and legal documents.
• Ability to apply mathematical operations to tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sample theory and factor analysis.
• A strong desire to be a significant contributor to a fast paced growth strategy.
• Effective communicator with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• A strategic thinker with strong problem solving and analytical skills.
