Come join our team! The City of Saint Paul Office of Financial Services is hiring a Grants Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to provide prospecting, writing, oversight, and coordination of grants citywide.
Here’s what you can expect to do:- Assists senior staff in identifying grant opportunities
- Reviews and communicates grant guidelines, works with departments to prepare grant applications
- Writes and submits grant applications
- Writes, negotiates, and oversees grant agreements
- Works with senior staff to submit budget amendments
- Supports departments in tracking, preparing reports, and responding to audits
- Works with senior staff to submit budget amendments
- Coordinates training as directed

A Bachelor's Degree and four years of experience in grant writing, fundraising, or program administration, at least two years of which must have been as a
Grants Assistant or equivalent.
Experience can be substituted for education on a year for year basis.
