Come join our team! The City of Saint Paul Office of Financial Services is hiring a Grants Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to provide prospecting, writing, oversight, and coordination of grants citywide.
Heres what you can expect to do:
Assists senior staff in identifying grant opportunities
Reviews and communicates grant guidelines, works with departments to prepare grant applications
Writes and submits grant applications
Writes, negotiates, and oversees grant agreements
Works with senior staff to submit budget amendments
Supports departments in tracking, preparing reports, and responding to audits
Works with senior staff to submit budget amendments
Coordinates training as directed

A Bachelor's Degree and four years of experience in grant writing, fundraising, or program administration, at least two years of which must have been as a
Grants Assistant
or equivalent.
Experience can be substituted for education on a year for year basis.

Governance The utility is governed by the Board of Water Commissioners, which consists of three members of the Saint Paul City Council, two Saint Paul citizens, and two representatives for the suburbs served by SPRWS. Administration The utility has four divisions - business, engineering, distribution, and production. Each operates under the direction of a division manager. Administration: Patrick Shea - General Manager Appointed by and responsible to the Board of Water Commissioners. Oversees the utility.
