Job Summary:

The Accounts Payable Specialist maintains records of financial transactions by establishing accounts, processing, and posting accounts payable transactions, and completing payroll.

Qualifications:

1. College degree preferred (BA or BS)
2. Minimum of 2-3 Years experience in accounts payable, with a background in either finance, accounting or business management
3. Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Products and Database Programs
4. A high degree of professionalism
5. Skilled in Self Management
6. Must have excellent follow-up and tracking skills
7. Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors
8. Experience with Sage Intacct software 

Responsibilities:

1. Maintains processes and posts accounts payable transactions in a timely manner.
2. Handles all payroll processes in an automated payroll system in a timely manner.
3. Handles all employee benefits transactions and processes them in the payroll system.
4. Maintains the related agencies' transactions and accounts.
5. Handles all other general office and bookkeeping related responsibilities as directed.
6. Maintains the company’s signed agreements in order to ensure they are updated in a timely manner.
7. Follows all company policies and procedures.
8. Maintains strict confidentially, and adheres to all HIPPA guidelines/regulations.
9. Performs other duties as assigned.
