About the Position We are seeking a dedicated Director of Operations to develop and monitor property management policies and procedures. This role involves recruiting, training, and supervising Community Managers, Maintenance Supervisors, Leasing Coordinators, and other on-site team members at various properties which includes (Rochester, MN, Champaign, IL & Lafayette, IN). The position also requires maintaining physical assets, ensuring property performance, and upholding company core values. You will assist the Senior Director of Operations and other supervisors with special projects and administrative tasks. Travel and occasional use of your personal vehicle are required. Candidates must reside in Rochester, MN.
Rate of Pay: From $80,000/ a year
Requirements:
- Experience/Knowledge:
- Two years of college or equivalent work experience.
- Seven years of supervisory experience in property management, including four years as an on-site property manager.
- Proven record of successful property management and knowledge of maintenance, marketing, and insurance.
- Effective communication, supervisory, and organizational skills.
- Licenses/Certifications:
- Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and auto insurance.
- Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) designation.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in computer literacy, including property management or business software.
- Experience with computers, telephones, scanners, fax machines, and photocopiers.
Travel Requirements: Travel is required, and occasional use of your personal vehicle may be necessary.
Residency Requirement: Candidates must reside in Rochester, MN.
