Overview
The Account Manager (AM) maintains existing relationships and develops new business relationships with clients using a solutions-based and consultative selling approach. The AM reports directly to the Director of Sales. The AM is chiefly responsible for promoting products and services to ensure client satisfaction from the execution of sale through project completion, consistently messaging and communicating the Barrows company brand. Overall, Barrows is looking for the following traits in an Account Manager:

Experience: Prior experience interfacing with clients, vendors and internal departments, working with minimum supervision and/or direction; General understanding of business practices, structures and philosophies; Ability to apply logical reasoning, creative problem solving and sound business judgment.
Culture: Interest in working in a fast-paced team environment in a collaborative space; Willingness to work as a team player and step into functions as needed to accomplish the job.
Knowledge: Understanding of manufacturer’s product and application, proven sales ability, and general grasp of business practices; Pricing and discounting experience a plus.
