20/20 Plumbing & Heating, Inc. is Hiring a Payroll Administrator Near Riverside, CA
Significant Duties:
- Assist with collecting/entering manual timecards, and distribution of payroll checks on a weekly basis.
- Responsible for the Time & Attendance review export process
- Reconciliation of Gross/Hours between systems
- Calculate hours, tax withholdings, deductions.
- Verify timekeeping records and consult supervisor/employees about discrepancies.
- Prints checks and administers ACH transactions for California entities
- Creates weekly reports pertaining to payroll and labor management
- Responsible for processing incoming verification of employment
- Processing Off Cycle Payroll for Correction Checks, Final Checks and other payments as required.
- Completes weekly audits of timecards and payroll checks.
- Process VOEs, W4s, Direct Deposit Changes
- Research and respond to a wide range of inquiries related to payroll and time & attendance.
- Cross train in Certified Payroll Reporting by processes 1-2 jobs.
- Cross train in processing Monthly Union Reports for Apprentices
- Verify New Hire Status Update Forms – Dual Verification
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external contacts.
- Performs all duties with a high degree of accuracy
- Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
- Other duties as assigned
- Associate degree (AA) from a two-year college or technical school, or two to four years of related experience and/or training, or the equivalent combination of education.
- Construction Payroll Experience, Preferred
- Certified Payroll / Union Reporting experience, Preferred
- Ability to speak, read, and write Spanish Preferred
- Knowledge of State and Federal law as it relates to payroll
- Knowledge of Sage and Novatime electronic timekeeping system, Preferred
- Ability to organize tasks according to departmental priorities
- Successfully work in a fast-paced environment at times with frequent interruptions
- Prioritize and complete multiple activities within established periods, and ask questions or seek clarification when unclear about expectations
