Bastionpoint Technology is Hiring an IT Help Desk Technician Near Richmond, VA

We’re looking for a growth-oriented Help Desk Technician to join our collaborative, welcoming team.
What you’ll do:
- Support common business applications (M365) via email, phone, and on-site support for 100 SMB’s
- Maintain client networks and network security (LAN/WAN , firewalls, access points, switches)
- Troubleshoot a wide variety of on-premise, cloud, Windows, Azure, Mac OS, and Google Workspace environments
- Prioritize tickets, set client expectations, provide incredible customer service, and accurately document client issues
Skills You’ll Need:
- 3 years experience with help desks and ticketing systems
- Working knowledge and experience in supporting SMB’s
- Working knowledge of basic TCP/IP Protocols, PC troubleshooting, security best practices, and network hardware
- Experience with MSPs, AD, Azure Administration, and Hyper-V are a strong plus
- Ability to communicate professionally with technical and non-technical people
- Confidence, self-motivation, and a collaborative team-player mentality
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
