Summary :
Reporting to the Commercial Lines Team Leader, individuals whose primary
responsibilities include clerical-type activities for the Commercial Lines department. They must be able to multi-task and handle duties such as issuing certificates, requesting loss runs, running MVRs and other clerical responsibilities.
This individual will have no direct contact with the Insured.
Essential Duties and Functions :
- Issue certificates of insurance from requests that have been approved by Account Manager
- Order loss runs from carriers
- Run MVRs to give to Account Manager for his / her review
- Forward claims information to appropriate insurance companies at the request of the Account Manager
- Collate and assemble submissions, proposals and / or summaries of insurance
- Special projects as assigned by the Account Manager
- Special projects as assigned by the Commercial Lines Manager
- Special projects as assigned by the Profit Center Leader
- Utilize agency / company internet products
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned

- Oral communication the individual speaks clearly and communicates a concise message.
- Written communication the individual edits work for spelling and grammar, presents numerical data effectively and is able to read and interpret written information.
- Quality control the individual demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors own work to ensure quality.
- Adaptability the individual adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.

- Ability and willingness to utilize the internet and the agency’s computer system
- Holds or will obtain required and appropriate insurance licenses within 90 days of employment

- Ability to work with details, in an organized manner, within time constraints
