Assistant Project Manager
12-month contract
Milwaukee/Clackamas, OR (Onsite 2-3 day a week & work hours are 7:30am – 4:30pm PST)
Pay Rate: 38-42 Per hour DOE
Job Description:
·Support the generation, transmission,and distribution project management team with executing capital constructionprojects, starting with a communications project. Coordinate with severalproject teams to gather information about project status and lead efforts togather scope from engineering teams. Heavy focus on data management, documentcoordination, and follow up with project team members.
·Creating a tracking system for projectmaterials. Training in QuickBase to create Purchase Orders. Will attend and take notes for various team meetingsthroughout the week. Update project SharePoint page to reflect design,materials, construction status.
·Will support 2 Project Managers withmultiple project teams of 3-20 people. Will be a member of team of 11 projectmanagers and project coordinators. Procurement management: Ordering, tracking, andreporting on open deliverables. Meeting with Construction Teams to scheduleupcoming work. Managing status updates on project SharePoint page.
·Specific projects are the Multi-Protocol Labeling System(MPLS) and Field Area Network (FAN). There is also potential to supportadditional projects within the team.
Requirements
·Associate degree or commensurateexperience
·2-5 years’ experience, project coordinationand/or construction experience preferred
·Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Visio
·Strong data management &organization
·Willingness to learn
