Job Description

• Manage network servers and technology tools.
• Install and configure software and hardware.
• Set up accounts and workstations.
• Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements.
• Troubleshoot issues and outages.
• Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls.
• Upgrade systems with new releases and models
• Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies.
• Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies.
• Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role
• Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management
• Knowledge of system security (e.g., intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery
• Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms
• Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
• Excellent communication skills
• BSc/Ba in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline; professional certification
• Maintaining computer networks and systems including software, VPN’s routers, and other physical hardware
• Installing and configuring network equipment to update or fix hardware or software issues.
• Monitoring computer systems to improve network performance for computer systems and networks.
• Communicating network issues to other employees and management
• Fixing software and hardware configuration issues for users on demand or from inspection of the system
• AWS experience is a plus.
• Working knowledge of Domains, DNS, SSL’s is required.
• Cisco or Meraki experience is required.
• Experience is Hospitality is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
