The El Dorado County Office of Education fulfills the substitute needs of 14 School Districts and 4 County Programs in Western El Dorado County.
Qualified individuals are needed to serve as substitute (guest) teachers when regular certificated staff are absent. The Guest Teacher - Full Credential - Certificated posting is for individuals who hold a valid Full California Credential (Preliminary or Clear) or a valid Emergency 30-day Substitute Permit.

Essential Job functions : Provides learning experiences and teaches the lessons of study prescribed by the classroom teacher or administrator.
Develops and uses instructional materials suitable for verbal and / or visual instruction of students with wide range of mental, physical, and emotional maturity.
Provides individual and group instruction designed to meet individual needs and motivate students. Establishes and maintains standards of student control required to achieve effective participation in all activities.
Provides appropriate instruction and activities for students to meet school / District policies goals and objectives. Follows school protocols and procedures.
