Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings such as hotels, offices, or residential homes. If you have a keen eye for detail and enjoy creating a clean and welcoming environment, we would love to hear from you.
Duties:
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and polishing
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and other common areas
- Change bed linens and make beds
- Restock supplies such as toiletries and cleaning products
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate personnel
- Adhere to health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation
- Familiarity with housekeeping management practices is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards for cleanliness and hygiene
- Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely and follow proper handling procedures
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required
