Draping by Kim is Hiring an Office Assistant (Draping + Lighting Company) Near Paso Robles, CA

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team! The perfect candidate will have experience in administrative or office support, an eagerness to learn, and an overall friendly & positive demeanor.

This position is part-time (25-30 hours per week) working alongside the owner in her home office. Exact scheduling is flexible, TBD.

Main Responsibilities:
- Managing incoming/outgoing email communications with wedding coordinators, clients, and venue managers
- Field new inquiries and create proposals using our booking software (Curate)
- Maintain scheduling calendars and appointments
-Light marketing and social media management
- Assist with HR and accounting tasks
- Assist with vacation rental management
- Onboarding for new hires

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an administrative or office support role
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
- EXCELLENT verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to take direction as well as working independently with minimal supervision
- Proficient in Apple Operating System
- Knowledge of Curate booking software a HUGE PLUS
- Experience working in wedding/event industry a PLUS
- Knowledge of Airbnb or other vacation rental software a PLUS

About Us:
We're a small, family owned business and we have been working in the weddings and events industry for over 15 years. Our home office is based in rural Paso Robles, CA. We have 2 vacation rentals on the property in addition to a working watermelon farm. We're a busy bunch to say the least!

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
