Reports to the Corporate HR Manager

Position Summary

Human Resources Generalist is responsible for completing a variety of tasks to support the daily operations of the HR department. Assistance with recruitment, maintain employee records, benefits, policy implementation, reports, assist with payroll processing and provide administrative support to all employees.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience
  • Demonstrate the strictest standards of confidentiality 
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient in SharePoint, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, Linkedin and Outlook
  • Must have knowledge of ADP Workforce Now
  • Must be able to effectively manage changing priorities and work to strict deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills essential, coupled with the ability to multitask
  • Ability to work on own initiative, with minimum direction.
  • Problem-solving skills and resourceful thinking

Responsibilities

  • Assist Managers in the hiring process, position approval.
  • Set-up backgrounds & physicals for new hires.
  • Knowledge of applicable local, state, federal employment laws. 
  • Educate newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures, and regulations.
  • Experienced in recruitment for all exempt and nonexempt personnel and temporary employees.
  • Process and update records for new hires, terminations, and changes in ADP Workforce Now and Polaris.
  • Prepare and maintains analytical reports for headcount, attrition, turnover, overtime, cost analysis and custom reports to managers.
  • Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars.
  • Generate training record reports and update employee status in Workingbird (CBT).
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment and benefits laws and regulations. 
  • Familiar with internal investigations, and immigration processes.
  • Process Family and Medical Leave (FMLA) request.
  • Participate in exit interviews.
  • Work with benefit providers on behalf of the employees. 
  • Assist in closing bi-weekly payroll.
  • Other duties as assigned by the HR Supervisor and other HR management.
