QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Master’s Degree or higher in Applied Behavioral Analysis or other appropriate behavioral science program.

2. A minimum of two years experience as a special education classroom teacher or behaviorist.

3. Completed the course sequence and required hours in ABA program.

4. Required criminal background check and proof of US citizenship or legal resident alien status

JOB GOAL: Work collaboratively with other school professionals to develop and implement individualized reinforcement strategies for students in need of behavioral interventions.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate, develop, and implement curricula design based on the principles of applied behavioral analysis.
• Train teachers and teacher’s aides/assistants in the implementation of instruction and behavioral interventions for classified students.
• Participate in and assist in the development of student Individualized Education Plans.
• Provide parent training and oversee home programs.
• Provide direct services to students.
• Assist concerned professionals in program improvement and development.
• Oversee aides/teacher assistants using applied behavioral analysis principles in home and/or school programs.
• Assist school professionals in the process of transitioning out of district students to in district programs.
• Attend child study team, I.E.P. and parent meetings when necessary.
• Attend monthly specialist meetings.
• Performs other appropriate duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $63,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
