Desert Oasis Healthcare is Hiring an Accounts Payable Technician Near Palm Desert, CA
- Accurately matches invoices, purchase orders and packing slips assigning the general ledger account number and inputting into the accounts payable system.
- Generate timely and accurate payment of all standard monthly payments, including but not limited to office and equipment lease payments and medical director fees.
- Audit and generate timely and accurate payment of all employee expense reimbursements.
- Weekly, or more often when requested, generate timely and accurate payment of all "non-PO" invoices and other check requests.
- Ensure all appropriate documentation (receiving reports/packing slips, detailed invoices etc.) and approvals are obtained to authorize payments of all checks produced.
- Reconciles vendor statements each month.
- Report all accounts payable discrepancies and operational problems immediately to manager (Controller/CFO).
- Receives and accurately processes cash receipts for daily bank deposits.
- Report all cash deposit discrepancies and operational problems immediately to manager (Controller/CFO).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1 year of general accounting experience, preferred.
- Proficient in computer use.
- Proficient with Excel spreadsheet applications and 10 key adding machine.
- Detail oriented. Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- At the discretion of DOHC/FHC management, this position has the potential to be a full or hybrid telecommuting position.
