Position Description:Manage /Administer Microsoft (0365) SharePoint Online/On-premises. Responsible for configuring and customizing MS SharePoint applications to support automating existing business processes, creating new ones, and maintaining existing sites, content, and resources to extend SharePoint functionality with forms, web parts, and application technologies. Grant and manage User Permissions and ensure appropriate application access for users as per their request. Deploy Low Code custom apps using Power apps and power Automate (as required). Deploy custom-coded applications to SharePoint users (if needed). Maintain Code-repositories and versioning for all the custom code. Work closely with end users and Business Process Improvement experts to develop, validate, and document website and application requirements. Support Agile PM processes for planning and prioritizing development tasks Provide monitoring and issue resolution support to the Help Desk Support Team Serve as a SME in MS SharePoint and supporting technologies for the M365 Platform Perform migration on SharePoint Online as necessary using Sharegate or a similar tool. Primary involvement in establishing SharePoint Online Governance. Increase platform efficiencies and functionalities by implementing automation where it can be applied. Assist with change management & adoption, user enablement, user device configurations & Deployment, and lifecycle governance and security.
Skills & Experience Required:A minimum of two years’ experience working with SharePoint.Experience administering and configuring SharePoint farm solutions. Experience deploying and managing SharePoint web applications. Knowledge of Active Directory and security concepts in relation to SharePoint.Ability to troubleshoot common SharePoint issues.Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Skills Preferred:Manage SharePoint environment, including web applications, site collections, sites, lists, libraries, and user permissions. Configure and manage SharePoint security Monitor SharePoint performance and usage statistics. Plan and execute SharePoint upgrades and patching schedule. Perform backups and recovery of SharePoint data as needed. Working Autonomously and with an independent drive to deliver results.
