Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Swim Instructor to join our team. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for providing swim lessons to individuals of all ages and skill levels. This is a rewarding opportunity to help others develop their swimming abilities and promote water safety.
Duties:
- Conduct swim lessons in a safe and supportive environment
- Teach proper swimming techniques and skills
- Provide individualized instruction based on each student's needs and abilities
- Ensure the safety of all participants during lessons
- Maintain a clean and organized swimming area
- Communicate with parents or guardians regarding student progress
Experience:
- 3 years of previous experience as a swim instructor
- Strong swimming skills and knowledge of various strokes and techniques
- Experience working with students of different ages and skill levels
- Ability to climb in and out of the pool multiple times during lessons
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well with individuals of all ages, including children
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications (or willingness to obtain)
- Must have high school diploma/GED
- Must provide reference
