An HOA management company is hired by a Board of Directors, elected officials representing residential communities. Their responsibilities include drafting and enforcing community rules, resolving disputes between neighbors related to HOA matters, maintaining common areas (such as landscaping and upkeep), and handling financial aspects, including collecting association fees and budget management.
Our ideal candidate has 2 years of experience in the field of community association management which involves managing homeowner and condominium associations. This individual should be very experienced in dealing with association board members and in building business relationships. Experienced in preparing association budgets and financial reporting, compliance, RCW’s and a greater than average technology background is required. Hours/Week: 40 hours
Salary Range: $62,000 - $75,000 DOE
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
A Community Association Manager is responsible for administering the communications, operations, maintenance, and financial management of approximately 8-15 homeowner and/or condominium associations with the help of an Assistant Community Manager (depending on the size of the portfolio). Bachelor's Degree and experience with associations is preferred, but not required. CMCA or AMS Certification though Community Association Institute is a plus, but not required.
