We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Total Rewards Analyst. This role will be based in our office in Oakville, and reports to the Manager, Total Rewards. Job Summary The Total Rewards Analyst will be responsible for providing analysis and support of Total Reward programs to optimize and enhance the program performance and sustainability. Supporting the Manager, Total Rewards, the Total Rewards Analyst will act as the subject matter expert by leveraging data and analytics to help design, implement, and advise on various Total Rewards programs provided at IPEX. Principal Responsibilities Conduct research and analysis in support of total reward-related initiatives, including compensation, benefits, retirement savings and well-being. Conduct analysis of internal equity and external market competitiveness on a regular basis. Lead all aspects of the survey submission process including understanding survey methodology, job matching, data gathering, data validation, benchmarking, and preparation of data submission files. Lead the annual Hourly Wage Review and Operations Bonus processes; process improvement, data integrity audits, market research, analysis and reporting, drafting communication materials and collaborating with HR/ Payroll and Operations Managers to achieve desired outcomes. Collaborate with the Human Resources Business Partner in making compensation recommendations for new hires and internal promotions. Conduct job evaluations and provide input in the grading process of new roles. Facilitate and coordinate annual open enrolment for Group benefits in the US. Provide support/direction to employees in relation to group benefits and 401(k) plan inquiries or issues regarding their coverage and claims. Takes ownership for resolving issues, coordinating resolution, by escalating or consulting with service partners when appropriate and keeping HR teams updated as applicable. Advise and provide interpretation of current Total Rewards policies Maintain current knowledge of market trends, best practices, legislative compliance for Total Reward programs, policies and processes within Canada and the US Recommend improvements for current Total Rewards programs, policies and processes. Assist with the development, preparation and distribution of Total Rewards communication materials, including HR and manager training. Support and collaborate on ad-hoc projects as required. Qualifications & Experience University/College degree in Business or related field CCP and/or CBP and/or CEBS designation completed or in progress is an asset 3 to 5 years progressive experience in support, coordination, and analysis of compensation and benefits programs. Comprehensive knowledge of group benefit programs in the US. Experience supporting all aspects of group benefit plan renewals. Experience with administration of US retirement savings plans – 401(k). Strong understanding of compensation theory, design, and best practices. Exceptional attention to detail with proven analytical, mathematical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong planning and organizational skills with proven ability to manage competing priorities. Advanced Excel skills for reporting, metrics and data validation (vlookups, pivot tables) and proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Experience using HRIS systems; specifically, with Workday and/or Ceridian Dayforce considered an asset. Good communication skills - both written and verbal Proven ability to maintain sensitive and highly confidential information Experience conducting job evaluations considered an asset. Bilingual English/French or English/Spanish considered an asset.
