Fabian Oil is currently seeking a full-time Service Manager to manage, reorganize, and increase productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction from our service department. This is a fast-paced position that is responsible for managing many employees and various daily operations. In general, the Service Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the service department including but not limited to billing, payroll, dispatching, inventory, and customer service.
The Service Manager should expect to perform all the following duties daily:
The ideal candidate for the Service Manager position MUST possess and demonstrate EXCELLENT written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Communication with service technicians, dispatchers, and customers is a key responsibility of this position, so the idea candidate should be very comfortable and confident in communicating both positive AND negative information to various parties. They will have strong analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills and be able to effectively manage both their own as well as other’s time. A successful candidate will have the ability to adapt to change, work as part of a team and perform work responsibilities independently.
Because the Service Manager will have access to private customer information, the ability to maintain confidentiality at the highest level is required.
