Fabian Oil is currently seeking a full-time Accounts Payable Clerk to join our accounting team in Oakland, ME. At Fabian Oil APCs are responsible for accurately computing, classifying, and recording various forms of financial transaction information. A qualified candidate for the APC position will demonstrate proficiency in written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills and should be excellent with time management and organization.

Compensation may range between $20 and $23 per hour. The exact pay will be dependent on experience & qualifications.

An Accounts Payable Clerk should expect to perform all the following duties:

• Process invoices and voucher open purchase orders.
• Match wholesale invoices to bank draft notices and delegate processing to assigned personnel.
• Analyze and review invoices for weekly check run and mail payments upon completion of said review.
• Reconcile the accounts payable ager to open invoices monthly.
• Reconcile vendor statements monthly.
• Scan weekly check run.
• Audit meter tickets.
• Other tasks as needed.

The ideal candidate for this position will have strong analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills. The APC position may also require overtime during peak seasons to meet departmental and company deadlines. Qualified candidates must be dependable and follow attendance/punctuality guidelines.

Because the APC will have direct access to sensitive financial information, the ability to maintain confidentiality at the highest level is required.
