Summary:
The HR Generalist performs Human Resources related duties and will carry out responsibilities in some or all of the following areas: employment, recruitment, benefits, compensation administration, employee relations, policies and procedures, job descriptions, and other duties/projects as assigned. Responsible for coordinating the recruitment and hiring activities of Faith Regional Health Services through identifying, developing and implementing sourcing strategies. Experience with social and professional networking sites is desired. Acts as day-to-day recruitment liaison with department hiring managers. Responsible for providing information and guidance to employees, supervisors and directors on Human Resources policies, procedures, and employee benefits. Will also perform other HR related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Recruits and/or monitors recruitment of qualified internal and external candidates for job openings for areas of responsibility.
2. Initiates, develops, and implements a proactive recruitment strategy to address various recruitment needs.
3. Develops and maintains strong working relationships with clinical leaders and applicants.
4. Works closely with hiring managers to gain a comprehensive understanding of the departmental hiring needs for every position/role.
5. Provides advice, training, and feedback to hiring managers in key recruitment areas such as interviewing techniques, candidate selection and sourcing.
6. Assists in providing HR information/advice on Human Resource policies and procedures, benefits, employment laws, employee personnel records, communications, and various HR processes.
7. Assists with responsibility for administration and technical tasks pertaining to HR functions.
8. Prepares and maintains/updates HR training processes, procedures, and manuals.
9. Identifies inappropriate policies, procedures, or practices and participates in the development of new and/or amended services.
10. Assists HR team in various projects and tasks as assigned.
Hours will be dependent on patient census and workload. Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule, to include after-hours and weekends as necessary.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree preferred.
EDUCATION FIELD OF STUDY:
Human Resources or Business preferred.
Previous Experience Requirements:
EXPERIENCE:
Combination of 4 years of education and experience in position field preferred.
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, customer service and decision-making skills required.
Effective organization, planning and follow-up skills required.
Knowledge and experience of HRIS for recruitment purposes, and experience in the use of computers for general office use required.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment required.
