Key Responsibilities Of The Accounts Payable Specialist
- Process accounts payable transactions, including invoice entry and payment processing.
- Verify and reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate and organized accounts payable records.
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes related to accounts payable.
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve payment issues.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Assist with audits and provide documentation as needed.
- Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or in a similar role.
- Familiarity with accounts payable principles and practices.
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).

- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
