Company Description

Milano Jewelry is a Direct-to-Consumer retail jewelry chain with over 40 locations in the Caribbean, Mexico, and Alaska. Headquartered in the heart of the New York City Diamond District, Milano brings consumers the savings of duty-free shopping with high-end quality and service. Through direct manufacturing to retail experience, Milano cuts out the middleman and passes the savings down to the final consumer.

Role Description

This is a full-time Marketing Manager role at Milano Jewelry. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies, managing advertising campaigns, analyzing market trends, conducting market research, and overseeing social media and digital marketing efforts. Milano currently advertises on Cruise Lines, Hotels and Social Media. The candidate must be willing to understand our target customer and our marketing techniques. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of social media marketing, and the ability to create and interpret detailed reports. This is a hybrid role, located in New York, NY or Miami, Florida with flexibility for some remote work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, email marketing, print advertising, and website content
  • Manage the company's website and ensure it is optimized for search engines
  • Manage and analyze social media campaigns across various platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest.
  • Create and interpret detailed marketing reports to measure effectiveness and ROI.
  • Coordinate and oversee photoshoots, ensuring high-quality visual content.
  • Curate and schedule social media posts, maintaining consistency with Milano's brand image.
  • Collaborate with the e-commerce team to optimize social media and search advertisements.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
  • Work closely with the retail team to ensure cohesive marketing efforts across all locations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in digital marketing

Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years experience in a marketing management role, preferably in the retail or e-commerce industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in marketing analytics tools.
  • Excellent understanding of social media platforms and social media marketing strategies.
  • Experience in coordinating photoshoots and content creation.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed to various store locations and must be okay with Cruise travel
  • Familiar with application/tools such as Canva, Figma, Google Analytics, Shopify
