Job Summary and Qualifications

The Manager is responsible for the complete oversight of her/his unit. The Manager serves as liaison between staff and administrative personnel. They establish personnel qualification requirements and performs other personnel management tasks.

What you will do in this role:

• As the Central Sterile Manager, you will promote customer service initiatives
• You will function in all areas of department pertaining to the processing and sterilization or reusable instruments and supplies
• You will understand principles and demonstrates knowledge of decontamination, assembling, packaging, sterilization and storage procedures
• You will demonstrate knowledge of sterilizer testing and recording of results
• Your role assumes responsibility for employee, physician and patient satisfaction
• You will assume responsibility for standards of practice and quality of care.

• Central Sterile Tech Supervisor Certification preferred.
• Minimum 3 years clinical experience.
• Interpersonal skills to successfully interact with others.
• Certified Sterile Processing Technician (CSPT) Required
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Bachelors Degree must be obtained within 2 years of employment start date
