Position Summary: Onboarding: Facilitate a smooth onboarding experience for new hires. Associate Service: Serve as the primary point of contact for Associate inquiries and concerns, fostering a positive and supportive work environment. Performance Management: Assist in the development and administration of performance evaluation processes, providing guidance and support to managers and employees. Compliance and Record-Keeping: Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records. Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the HR department, including preparing reports, managing HR systems, and handling day-to-day HR tasks efficiently and professionally. Side Kick: Tag along as the trusty sidekick in HR investigations, supporting our Director of HR and HR Manager. You'll be the essential second pair of eyes, always having their back while helping ensure every detail is covered. Qualifications: Experience: Proven track record with at least 2-3 years of experience in HR roles, preferably within a retail or hospitality environment. Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and connect with employees at all levels. Tech Savvy: Proficiency in HR software and systems (e.g., HRIS, ATS), along with strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Strong problem-solving abilities, with a knack for thinking on your feet and adapting to ever-changing situations with a positive attitude. Language Skills: Must be proficient in English, with additional proficiency in Spanish being a plus. Footwear: Non-slip shoes are mandatory for a safe working environment (please note that the company does not provide). Work Authorization: Authorized to work in the United States. Age: Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have reliable transportation: Ensuring you can reliably get to work and be part of our cheesy adventures! Flexibility: Ready to swoop in like an HR Superhero when duty calls, whether it’s nights or weekends, ensuring the team is always supported and issues are swiftly resolved! Physical Requirements: Physical Endurance: Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods. Strength and Agility: Capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling objects weighing up to 50 lbs. Adaptability to Environmental Conditions: Comfortable working in various temperatures. Flexibility and Mobility: Skilled in bending, stooping, kneeling, and twisting. Physical Stability: Ability to maintain balance during tasks, especially important when going up and down stairs frequently. Manual Dexterity: Efficient manipulation of items. Clear Communication: Effective verbal instructions in busy settings. Visual Acuity: Essential for inspecting, cleaning, safety, and ambiance.
