**Overview:**

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and experience in accounts payable processes.

**Responsibilities:**

- Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures

- Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts payable data

- Prepare bills, invoices, and bank deposits

- Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted

- Monitor vendor payment agreements to ensure payments are up to date

- Assist with month-end closing processes

- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions

- Ability to perform account reconciliation tasks
