We have an exciting opportunity for a Site Manager to join our Riverbend team. The Site Manager is responsible for the development of the leaders and processes at the Riverbend Facility. Accountable for site strategy, best practices, P&L, and CI Initiatives. Success is measured through development and retention of the team, and improvement in operations and efficiency. Primary production lines are premium annuals, hanging baskets, ground cover and perennials. Reports include managers of HR, Production, Shipping, Maintenance, and the Head Grower.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Leadership of Site Management team and activities.
  • Support continuous improvement culture and best practice development.
  • Collaboration of strategic direction with department directors and Senior Director of Operations.
  • Anticipate fluctuating sales and production demands on Inventory levels.
  • Create and monitor budgets and financials for site operations.
  • Coordinate with site and home office planning teams to create more efficient space planning.
  • Develop and train staff through coaching and performance management.
  • Promote a safe work environment, upholding company safety policies and procedures.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 10 years of progressive industry experience, 5 years managerial level preferred.
  • Degree in Horticulture, related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in budgeting and cost analysis/control.

PHYSICALREQUIREMENTS:

  • Seasonally busy during April/May.
  • Office environment 60%.
  • Greenhouse environment40%.
PAY RANGE: $100k - $130k per year
Pay rate is determined by various components including, but not limited to, experience, skills, qualifications, relevant education, certifications, seniority, and location. The pay rate is one component of the total compensation package. Other rewards vary by position and location.
