Three Rivers Park District is Hiring a Project Manager Near Minneapolis, MN

Three Rivers Park District is seeking to fill the position of Project Managerat our Administrative Center in Plymouth, MN. This position is responsible for managing complex projects and programs related to system-wide engineering, design, construction, and redevelopment of facilities in a manner that will guarantee a high standard of quality, consistent with all laws, regulations, and Three Rivers Park District policies and mission.

This position may offer a remote/hybrid work schedule.

STARTING RANGE: $80,000.00 - $105,000.00 annually

The Project Manager role will include the following:

  • Direct and participate in the preparation and implementation of planning, design, and construction projects.
  • Communicate with the Park District Board of Commissioners and public agencies.
  • Coordinate the work of consultants and construction contractors.
  • Develop and implement contracts for consultants and contractors.
  • Develop and prepare documents ranging from scoping through bidding documents for the Park District’s Asset Management projects.
  • Serve as the Park District liaison on partnership projects.
  • Participate in the Park District’s Asset Management Program.
  • Coordinate the work of technical support staff on projects you are leading.
  • Maintain current technical knowledge and professional organization affiliation.

A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture, Architecture, or related field from an accredited college or university and a minimum of 6 (six) years of progressively responsible experience in directly related project and program management work.

Registration as a licensed professional in the State of Minnesota by the Minnesota Board of Architecture, Engineering, Land Surveying and Landscape Architecture is preferred, but not required. Must possess a valid Class D Minnesota driver's license.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
