Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young children and creating a nurturing learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum to stimulate children's cognitive, social, and emotional growth
- Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for children
- Monitor and assess student progress to provide feedback to parents
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive and enriching educational experience
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and development
Qualifications:
- Assistant teacher requirements: 12 semester credits towards early childhood education (a lot of general college credits count), or a CDA plus previous experience working in a childcare center.
-Teacher requirements: 16 semester credits towards early childhood education (a lot of general college credits count), an associate degree, bachelor's degree or a CDA plus previous experience working in a childcare center.
- Previous experience working with children preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Patience, flexibility, and a passion for working with children
- Ability to pass a background check and meet all state licensing requirements
