Account Specialist, P&C Construction

SUMMARY

As an Account Specialist within our Business Insurance Property & Casualty Group, you will be an integral team member who supports the Account Management and Sales teams with high quality work product to ensure client needs and expectations are met.

Heavy focus within the Construction vertical.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Issuing and managing certificates of insurance
• Completing applications
• Transmission of information to clients and insurance companies
• Issuing Auto ID Cards
• Change Requests
• Endorsement delivery
• Preparing pre-renewal information
• Completing binders and schedules of insurance
• Simple Invoicing
• Data information entry into Sagitta
• Working as directed with outside vendor services
• Ordering MVRs
• Ordering Flood determinations
• Maintaining internal client SOV, historical, vehicle / driver schedules or other related schedules outside of Sagitta
• Other duties assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2 years of experience as a technician within the insurance industry. At least some experience with New York construction industry clients required
• High School Diploma, College degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Insurance, Finance or other relevant program highly preferred
• Property / Casualty Agent's / Broker's license or willingness to obtain in 90 days
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

The applicable base salary range for this role is $39,300 to $65,940. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements.

Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
