Reports To: EVS Supervisor

FLSA Classification: Full-Time, Non-Exempt, Hourly $16.03- $19.54

Essential Functions:

• Follow established procedures to assure that the facility is maintained in a sanitary, safe and attractive condition at all times, and that it complies with regulatory requirements.
• Practice precautions at all times to assure that patients, residents, visitors, and employees are in a safe environment.
• Dispose of trash, waste, and regulated medical waste into proper containers and maintain waste disposal containers.
• Maintain Carpets and flooring.
• Perform proper disinfecting procedures in assigned areas.
• Maintain overall cleanliness and sanitation of the facility as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• At least 18 years of age.
• Previous experience not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
• Must be able to move and traverse about the facility 50% of the time.
• Frequently transport objects weighing up to 50lbs.
• Occasionally position objects weighing up to 100 lbs
• Must be able to recognize details such as color and depth within a few feet of the observer.
• Constantly positions self to complete essential functions.
• May be required to wear N95s or PAPRs throughout the shift.
