Reports to:
The Logistics Coordinator/Account manager will report to upper management including Vice Presidents, Plant Manager, Plant Engineer, and Human Resources.
Reports day to day:
The Logistics Coordinator/Account Manager will directly work with and report to the Plant Engineer and Plant Manager on a daily production basis. The LC/AM will also coordinate production activity with Plant Foremen, and Lab Supervisor.
Job Overview:
We are specifically looking for a Qualified Candidate to take on our Exxon Account. This role is very hands on, the work load is more than entry level, and we require you have at least 5 years experience in logistics. We will require a reference check.
The Logistics Coordinator/Account manager is hands-on for coordinating all inbound and outbound deliveries and pick-ups for Gordon Terminal. The logistics coordinator will be 25% in the plant, 75% in the office, and subject to work remote if the job allows. Each Account Manager is designated to a team of 3-6 Account Managers per team, each specifically responsible for the main customer assigned to their team, along with smaller customers assigned to each account manager depending on workload, specialty, and seniority. However, this account is composed of ONE account manager taking on all of these responsibilities.
Each team is designated to a certain customer. Each customer has its own manual of which each account manager must abide and sign off on, understanding the specifications within this manual and terms within the agreement. These manuals contain provisions that must adhere to the scope of operations, products, quality, deliveries, special services, prices, and payments in coordination with the accounting department between the customer and Gordon Terminal. Each account manager has responsibility for product pricing and working with the accounting team and customer for accuracy.
Additional responsibilities include - Training and communication between seniority team members, quality assurance in coordination with the quality manager, management of change, procedure recognition, compliance training, safety training in coordination with customer specifications, and business ethics specifications.
