HireLevel is hiring a Bookkeeper to help maintain the financial responsibility of our company. We invoice a high volume of clients on a weekly basis to cover employment services HireLevel provides. This position will ensure we receive payment for our services, prepare bank deposits, send financial payments and help track overdue accounts. If you enjoy working with numbers, consider yourself extremely organized and have a strong eye for details, this position is for you. Experience using Quickbooks is recommended.

A day in the life as a Bookkeeper:
At HireLevel, our business is unique. Your first six weeks are dedicated to training not only on our processes but also on the entire scope of our services. Once you understand the full picture you can start to learn tasks that take place on a daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
As the Bookkeeper, you may find yourself vetting new customers, setting up payment plans, and keeping up with accounts receivable. Payroll tax returns and multi-state government reporting is also a large part of this role as well as company banking. Protecting our line of credit is a top priority.
You will be introduced to new software that we use to manage our temporary employees, which includes processing weekly payroll. From there, that software is used for EEO-1 reporting, ACA reporting and ensuring all employee benefits are paid on their behalf.
What you need to be qualified for this job
To be qualified, you must have experience using QuickBooks. At HireLevel, we are set up to handle multiple companies within QuickBooks, so extensive knowledge of the software is required. In addition, you must consider yourself a "techy person" with an eagerness to learn, strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized and on task. Our environment is very fast-paced, and deadline driven, so you must be able to work under pressure and communicate effectively with your team and others within the organization.
