City of New York is Hiring a Community Associate Near Manhattan, NY
- Respond to all tenant inquiries over the phone or in-person pertaining to Emergency Transfers, and other request referred by the Customer Contact Center, internal departments and external
- Research information in NYCHA’s data bases in order to provide accurate updates to the tenant regarding their transfer inquires.
- Provide tenants support, information, and referrals to NYCHA developments, Family Partnerships and to our formal partners.
- Maintain reports on inquires received by the Customer Contact Center and other sources.

Minimum QualificationsQualification Requirements
- High school graduation or equivalent and three years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to duties described above; or
- Education and/or experience which is equivalent to "1" above.
