CGC for Bachrach Group is Hiring a Medical Claims Processor Near Manhattan, NY
We are in search of Medical Claims Processors for our client in Manhattan. This is a 3-6 month project for candidates with excellent data entry/keyboarding skills and a minimum of 1 year office experience. In addition, candidates will be responsible for verifying/processing claims, and managing confidential records.
Medical Claims Processor
Pay Rate: $18-$24/hr
Midtown, NY
Responsibilities
- Access various medical claims processing systems and batches to verify claims
- Update and correct data using reference files to verify accuracy
- Provide clerical support, including filing, copying, faxing, typing
- Perform additional duties/projects as instructed
Qualifications
- Minimum one (1) year clerical experience in a general office environment required
- Excellent Data entry/key boarding skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize/follow through on tasks
- Good communication skills and legible handwriting
- Must meet performance standards including attendance and punctuality
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
