Job Title: Staffing Account Manager (Business Development)Job Overview: As a Staffing Account Manager focused on business development, you will be responsible for identifying, prospecting, and acquiring new clients for our staffing services. Your primary goal will be to expand our client base and increase revenue by building strong relationships with potential clients and effectively selling our staffing solutions. This role requires a self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills and a proven track record in sales or account management within the staffing industry.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prospecting and Lead Generation:
    • Identify and research potential clients through various channels, including networking events, online platforms, and industry publications
    • Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients by cold calling, emailing, and scheduling meetings to introduce our staffing services
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers at client organizations
    • Understand clients' staffing needs, challenges, and objectives to provide tailored solutions and establish yourself as a trusted advisor
    • Regularly communicate with clients to provide updates on staffing trends, market insights, and new service offerings
  • Sales and Business Development:
    • Present and promote our staffing services to potential clients, highlighting the benefits and value proposition
    • Prepare and deliver compelling sales pitches, proposals, and presentations to win new business opportunities
    • Negotiate terms of service agreements, pricing, and contracts with clients to ensure mutual satisfaction and profitability
  • Market Research and Analysis:
    • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics to identify new business opportunities
    • Conduct market research and analysis to identify target industries, sectors, and geographic regions for business development efforts
  • Collaboration and Coordination:
    • Work closely with internal teams, including recruiters, account managers, and leadership, to ensure seamless transition and delivery of services to new clients
    • Collaborate with marketing and branding teams to develop promotional materials, case studies, and presentations to support business development efforts
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in sales, account management, or business development within the staffing industry
  • Strong understanding of staffing and recruitment processes, including temporary staffing, contract-to-hire, and direct hire placements
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently, set priorities, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Results-driven mindset with a demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite
