The City of Mitchell is accepting applications for part-time bus operators for the Palace Transit Service. Applicants must be 21 or older.
Starting wage is $21.394 per hour.; this position will have evening and weekend hours. Applicants should have, or be able to obtain a CDL (commercial driver's license) with a passenger endorsement assistance will be provided if help is needed to obtain this certification.
Bus Operators transport passengers within City Limits, complete required paperwork and reports, adhere to all traffic laws, follow routes by operating a computerized routing system in the vehicle, keep the bus fueled and clean, and provide friendly and effective customer service.
Flexible scheduling available.
Applications are available on this website and at the Human Resource Office, City Hall, 612 North Main, Mitchell, SD, 57301.
Also available at the James Valley Community Center.
