Geyermans Clothing Co is Hiring a Retail Store Assistant Manager Near Mitchell, SD

Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team. As a Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for assisting our manager in overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service and leading a team of dedicated employees. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, exceptional leadership abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities are to assist our manager in the following ways:

- Manage all aspects of store operations, including managing inventory, sales, and customer service

- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and achieve store targets

- Train, supervise, and motivate a team of sales associates

- Conduct employee orientation and provide ongoing training and development opportunities

- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

- Create and maintain a positive work environment for employees

- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations in a professional manner

- Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and expenses

- Collaborate with other store managers to share best practices and achieve company goals

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as an Assistant Store Manager or in a similar role

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Exceptional time management and organizational abilities

- Proficient in math for handling cash transactions and managing inventory

- Experience in shift management and scheduling

- Familiarity with employee interviewing and hiring processes

- Bilingual skills (preferred but not required)

- Ability to supervise multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail

- Proven track record of achieving sales targets
