Position Title: Marketing Specialist ? Lone Tree Arts Center

Salary range $43,502.00 - $53,044.00

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Under the direction of the Associate Executive Director for External Relations, the Marketing Specialist provides support for marketing and promotions of all Lone Tree Arts Center (LTAC) events and City of Lone Tree events.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES: (The following essential job functions and examples of duties are illustrative only and are not intended to be all inclusive.)

• Design printed and digital collateral to promote LTAC and City of Lone Tree events, e.g. postcards, posters, programs, rack cards, signage, and newsletters.
• Design promotional emails for LTAC events, including monthly newsletters.
• Utilizing provided schedule, write, edit, and post daily organic social media content.
• Monitor LTAC social media channels, answer questions and reply to comments.
• Add LTAC and City of Lone Tree event listings to online digital calendars.
• Assist with creation of marketing content such as videos and blogs.
• Assist with updating and building LTAC website pages.
• Proofread all collateral and content for accuracy and proper grammar prior to publication.
• Assist with promotional marketing events on an as-needed basis; may include evening and weekend shifts.
• Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Required experience and high-level familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
• 1-2 years of marketing experience with specific experience in graphic design/production and digital marketing.
• Must have excellent writing skills, with preferred experience in writing for social media, web, and other marketing channels.
• Ability to efficiently coordinate multiple tasks while always meeting deadlines.
• Demonstrated organizational skills with impeccable attention to detail.
• Experience working in social media platforms in a professional capacity, e.g. Meta Business Suite.
• Strong technical savvy with experience using Microsoft Office Suite and WordPress and/or demonstrated ability to quickly learn new software systems.
• Passion for performing arts a plus; this position will regularly attend evening and weekend events to understand marketing angles and inform content creation.
