Maintain and assist in accounting functions for the Company.
Essential Function:To perform detailed accounting functions and related projects.Financial Reporting:Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.Account Reconciliation:Regularly reconcile various accounts, identify discrepancies, and resolve any issues promptly.Compliance:Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state, and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.Financial Analysis:Communicate assist store management with financial statement analysisReporting:Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and provide data for annual audits.
Basic Functions:1) Follow directives of the Assistant Controller, CFO, and President.2) Prepare and review financials each period for assigned stores.3) Communicate with store management to research financial statement issues.4) Maintain fixed asset schedule for company and reconcile to general ledger.5) Monitor inventory levels of assigned store for potential issues6) Calculate quarterly additional compensation for assigned departments.7) Knowledge of Nebraska and Iowa sales and use tax and return preparation8) Maintain fuel records and research discrepancies.9) Maintain and reconcile coupons for company.10) Prepare schedules, support documentation, and work with external auditors on year end audit.11) Prepare financial reports for executives and management as assigned.12) Other accounting duties as assigned.13) Provide back up for other accounting functions as assigned.14) Enforce and abide by Company procedures and policies.
