The primary focus of this role is to partner with the finance team to help structure profitable and compliant transactions that address the needs of a diverse set of internal corporate customers and increase the effectiveness and productivity of our sales teams.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Be a true business partner to the commercial teams, providing accurate and timely financial analysis of key commercial initiatives
• Develop and maintain regular reporting packages, including monthly/quarterly forecast plans, and customer/order and pipeline information
• Develop and maintain specific KPIs aimed at improved lead conversion, win rate and customer retention
• Lead pipeline review and sales operations process to ensure efficient pipeline conversion
• Obtain thorough understanding of PenLink's products, offerings, and associated pricing strategies
• Become an expert on price books and quoting process and recommend areas of improvement
• Be a key resource for reviewing and approving non-standard pricing and financial term requests that escalate to Finance
• Partner closely with the accounting team during the month-end close process to ensure accurate general ledger and company-wide financial statement reporting
• Ownership of variable compensation plans and pricing strategies
• Salesforce optimization
• Other duties as assigned

YOUR COMPETENCIES

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Very organized with a strong attention to detail
• Ability to building strong working relationships with internal business units
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing situations
• Experience in data analysis, modeling and/or financial analysis
• Intermediate/advanced Salesforce.com and MS Excel skills highly desired

YOUR EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in Commercial Finance, Deals Management or Sales Finance
