Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual for House Manager to oversee daily operations in a residential setting providing RHS (Residential Habilitation Services) supports through DSPD. The House Manager will be responsible for ensuring the well-being, safety, and quality of life of residents, who may have intellectual or developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities:
1. Supervise and support Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in providing high-quality care and support to residents.
2. Develop and implement individualized support plans based on residents' needs and preferences.
3. Coordinate and oversee daily activities, including meal preparation, medication administration, and recreational outings.
4. Maintain a safe and clean environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
5. Act as a liaison between residents, their families, DSPs, and external service providers.
6. Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor progress and adjust support plans as needed.
7. Provide training and guidance to DSPs on person-centered care practices and behavior management techniques.
8. Manage budgetary and administrative tasks, including scheduling, documentation, and reporting.
9. Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that promotes independence, dignity, and respect for all residents.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a residential setting with individuals with disabilities.
- Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.
- Knowledge of RHS supports, DSPD regulations, and person-centered planning principles.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
