What to expect:

As the Transportation Specialist, you will be the backbone of our transportation services. Your responsibilities will include maintaining our fleet, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring the safety and well-being of our students during transport.

Key duties include:

• Clean, wash, refuel, and manage fluids as needed.
• Schedule maintenance, repairs, tire changes, registrations, and inspections.
• Maintain detailed vehicle maintenance logs and ensure policy adherence.
• Manage vehicle scheduling with Clinical and Residential Departments.
• Provide transport, supervision, and care to students on and off campus.
• Assist with campus-related maintenance duties.

Your skills & experience:

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in vehicle maintenance and fleet management.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Commitment to safety and protocol compliance.

What you'll need:

• A minimum of a High School diploma or GED (Associate/Bachelor preferred).
• A background check compliant with the New York State Justice Center and OCFS regulations.
• Valid New York State driver’s license.
• Experience working with students in both individual and group settings is preferred.
